With over 15 years of industry management experience and a hands-on approach to quality craftsmanship, Sam Barnett brings unmatched expertise to Your Way Home. As a qualified builder and Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) in Carpentry, Sam established his highly regarded building company in 2017, earning a reputation for delivering exceptional results across a range of projects in New Zealand. Now focusing on providing the same service at Your Way Home
Sam is passionate about creating homes that reflect his clients’ visions, whether it’s a first family home, a large build, or a modern investment. His collaborative approach ensures the building process is enjoyable and stress-free, tailored to each client’s needs.
Meet Sarah Teasdale – Director and Designer
Sarah Teasdale brings energy, expertise, and a collaborative spirit to Your Way Home. With a qualification in Project Management and LBP Design 2 certification, Sarah is a skilled architectural designer who specialises in new builds and construction support. Sarah has become known for her ability to turn ideas into well-planned, beautifully architecturally designed homes.

With his qualifications and extensive experience as a builder, James possesses the industry knowledge to address all your questions, big or small. Meet Bevan Wood - Designer
Bevan has 20 years experience as an architectural technician and designer and is interested in sustainable materials and design and the revitalization of old homes and spaces.
Bevan is a Professional Member of Architectural Designers New Zealand (ADNZ) and is a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP Design 2).
Meet Sarah Copeland (SJ) - Designer
Sarah (SJ) enjoys developing a relationship with her clients to ensure the best outcome for their homes and families. Sarah uses her knowledge of BIMX modeling to enable her clients to visualize their projects throughout the architectural process.
As a highly experienced home extension designer, she specialises in renovations, including bathroom and kitchen remodels and house extensions. Sarah is a Professional Member of Architectural Designers New Zealand (ADNZ) and is a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP Design 2).
